About Me
Sam, now based in Denver, is originally from a suburb of a suburb in Minnesota. After he left small-town America for the Pacific Northwest, he started his comedy career with a grassroots comedy show in college that earned two Northwest Emmy Nominations (Which is not fake. It is a very real regional awards ceremony). A sharp, relatable storyteller with a knack for turning everyday experiences into hilarious observations, Sam paris his down-to-earth roots with a quick wit and Midwest charm. Sam’s comedy has been featured in festivals across the country, including the prestigious High Plains Comedy Festival, and he regularly works at some of the best clubs west of the Mississippi. He is a regular at the world-famous Comedy Works in Denver and won the 2025 Comedy Fort's Funniest Competition. His debut comedy special, “Minnesota Nice,” was featured in Paste Magazine and is available now on YouTube.
